INTERIORS BY SAVANA

After a successful collaboration during the Vintertullstorget project Urban Couture was asked by Savana to deliver construction and production documents for this transformation project on Tulegatan adjacent to one of Stockholms beautiful parks, Vanadislunden. The project includes a two-story extension of an existing building with seven new, high end apartments. All apartments have impressive panorama views over the northern part of the city, both from inside and from the private terraces. Four apartments contain an internal staircase to a loft with access to the roof terrace.

The existing building on Vilan 24 was built in 1972 and is clad in dark brick. The number of floors along Tulegatan varies between seven to eight floors, as well as one floor for technical installations and storage. For an efficient layout of the new apartments the technical spaces are rearranged and storages are moved to the basement floor.

As a contrast to the dark brick the new staggering volume on top is clad with galvanised steel panels, creating a vivid facade that reflects the sky. All building elements, such as railing frames, windows, chimneys and sunshades have similar finishes to create a cohesive appearance.

The new residents have had the opportunity to influence the layout and finishes of their apartments.

All apartments are unique.
